Week 29!

Well, I haven't been the best mommy blogger but will be updating more since the swelling in my feet have decided to show up : ) I'll be propping up alot more over the next few weeks! Yes, we are now in the third trimester!  I can't believe it Isaac will be here in just 10 weeks! AHHHH! :) We have yet to start nursery production but thanks to the grandparents crew coming in Friday to paint and get things put together and put up that will finally get done! : )  Will post pictures as soon as well they are done I've already been instructed to stay out while painting  goes on. God has definitely been teaching me to not be so controlling over these last 7 months and that its okay to ask for help.  : ) I'm still learning though.

Let's see Isaac is now about 3 pounds and around 17 inches is what the baby book says we don't know exact measurements. I do however know, he is an awesome kicker! He loves to get moving right when Matt gets out of bed to go to work in the mornings now around 6:20 a.m. Then he gets extremely active late at night around 8:00 p.m-10:00 p.m.  There's been the occasionally 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. movements.   He also has learned his daddy's voice he responds to Matt's deep voice he's occasionally punched or kicked at him.  He does however move sometimes when I do read at night. Yes, Isaac and I have story time already together,  maybe not every night but at least a couple of times a week.

I am beginning to feel the symptoms of the third trimester. Nice lovely Shrek feet that are so swollen no shoes really fit.  Definitely tossing more at night and it takes a little longer to roll over from one side to the other : )  I feel the need to clean constantly.  I haven't had any weird cravings yet.  I do now wake up at 2 or 3 and have to get a Tums for heartburn and indigestion :) So hopefully he will have lots of hair :)

So that's the update so far. We had a very blessed Christmas enjoying the birth of our Savior.  Spending time with family and just imagining  what it's going to be like next Christmas with Isaac here.  Matt and I thank God everyday for this miracle that will soon make his appearance in this crazy world.  We pray that we will be that Godly influence that he needs and will always know where God takes first place in home.  We are so blessed to have wonderful family and friends who made sure to instill those values in Matthew and I.    We love you and hope you have a very Happy and Blessed New Year!

Only a month behind :)

So I told you guys I couldn't make any promises about keeping up weekly with this blog :)  It's been a little busy around here lately. It seems once October hits, it's time for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Good news is...we're over the half way mark! Whoohoo! We are now 21 weeks and 5 days! Isaac is growing and he's actually a week ahead of schedule is what we found out at our last appointment : ) so possibly the first week of March instead of March 12th. Doctor is still going to say the due date is March 12th though :)  Isaac was 13 ounces last appointment.

We go back November 15th for our next check up. He should be a pound! He is definitely moving a lot more. Especially at night when we're home and I'm sitting on the couch every night from about 8:00-9:00 I can really feel him. Matt has felt him two times, but he has to really be kicking. So far he's definitely got a pretty good kick on him : ) So those things have been really exciting for us. It's just amazing to sit there and feel him moving like that. God is just so amazing!

We've got his bedding and things picked out. The grandmas are going to take care of those for us!-which is awesome!  I don't know who was more excited about that Matt or the grandmas :)  We've got the paint colors narrowed down and will try to get his room painted and beaded board up before Christmas because things will be getting extra busy! Cravings have been here and there-Isaac and I definitely really enjoy ice-cream!  Also, spicy foods are good- and after every meal comes indigestion and heartburn-all i can say is he has to have matt's hair! Because I was bald. Matt however was cool and had a mohawk going on it's adorable. I'll try to post a picture-he'll get me good if i do that though :)  So that's the scoop so far! I will try to do better :) Awww yeah as Isaac's first halloween Trunk or treat at church sort of with us this is what the family dressed up as minus mac :(  he was there with us though through the excitement :) We were Abraham, Sarah, and Isaac! Really tried fitting mac in but even as creative as matt is he had trouble coming up with something for mac.

Here's what we're praying for this week in Isaac's development from our little prayer book:
Lord,
My little baby is adding fat to his bones this week. How exciting! This will keep him warm for when he enters into this cold world. THese layers will cushion and protect him and give me something to kiss and pinch :) Lord, I pray that you will always keep our child warn and protected. I thank you that he will be born in a warm place and live in a warm home. I thank you that we can afford diapers, clean clothing, and blankets.  And he'll have so many loved ones to snuggle with around the clock. God will you send your angels to protect my darling child? As much as I'd loved to be there for him every second of his life, I know I cant be.  Even if I could, some things are beyond my control. Help me trust you to protect our little one.  He already means the world to us.
In Jesus Name,
Amen!

Week 18

So sorry I'm behind on blogging : ) It's all because of the great news we have found out that we're having a boy! His name will be Isaac Wayne Robinson.  Matt found the name the Sunday morning before we found out what we were having.  Isaac means-"he laughs" because of Abraham and Sarah laughing when God told them they would be blessed with a child at such an old age. When he showed me Isaac we just knew that's what we felt God wanted to name him.  This is what we're praying for little Isaac this week:
Our baby's legs are strengthening this week, Lord. His legs are getting  harder and longer. I marvel at how you make things grow. As I think of baby legs, I think of little ones learning to stand and then taking a step  and then walking.  And once they can walk there's no stopping them. God, I want our child's legs to be physically fit and strong.  But more important, I want him to use his legs to follow you. I want him to physically walk with you all of his days-in his actions, the places he goes, the things she does.  But also spiritually-making choices that honor you, seeking to please you always.  I know it isn't always easy walking down that  " narrow road." The pressure to conform will be high.  Will you help me build up spiritual muscle in my child, so that walking with you is something he desires and is able to do?

We're almost half way there!  I can't believe it!  We can't wait for little Isaac to arrive!  Matthew is super excited too and talks to him every day.  Now the fun begins of planning for him and his nursery! Dr. Seuss is what we have decided on for his nursery.  Matthew has already got to laying plans out and drawing up some sketches :) Thanks for all the prayers and support we love you all dearly!

In Him,

Matthew, Sarah, Isaac, and of course Mac : )

Week 15

We are now 15 weeks and 1 day pregnant!  This week's verse from my book is in 1 Corinthians 10:31-"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." This week's prayer for our baby is this:

Lord, my little one's digestive glands are completely formed now. Oh, how I pray that every organ and gland continues to work perfectly.  I so want my baby to have a healthy body, to eat healthy foods, to use nutrients efficiently, and to smoothly get rid of waste his/her body doesn't need.
Lord, you have provided us with so many delicious natural foods. I thank you for fresh fruits and vegetables, wholesome grains, and refreshing water to quench our thirst.  I pray that our child will take his his/her health seriously, and that he'll be a good steward of the only body he/she will ever have.  Help him to see food as something to be enjoyed, but more importantly, as a source of strength and nourishment. Help him/her to seek out the kinds of food that give him the energy he needs to live up to his/ her fullest potential.
In Jesus Name, Amen.

So, I really think this is a tough one for me because I love to eat, especially junk food.  I have been struggling with weight since my freshman 15 and then more after high school all because I give into to just junk, all the time. I admit, it's been super hard even while I have a precious little one in me to just not even think about what I'm putting in my mouth because, I use the excuse to convince myself well your pregnant and that's what the baby is craving.  So, the goal this week is to walk at least 15 to 30 minutes 5 days this week and to watch my intake of junk this week. I want to be the example I need to be for our baby and it starts now! News this week: We go for our check up Wednesday at 1:10 p.m. hopefully we will be able to schedule our appointment to find out what we're having! Thanks for all the prayers and votes! The boy is winning! (that's my pick is boy)  Matt is still all for girl : )  Hope everyone has a blessed week!

Second Trimester-We're 14 weeks!

We are now in our second trimester! Morning sickness has slown down alot! A big blessing!  One funny fact about the baby from my book-the baby is the size of a Jumbo Shrimp :) Also, the baby's gender will be developed this week! So Matt and I have been so anxious and excited about finding out what the baby is.   Hopefully, we find out in about 2 weeks or so. I wanted to share a part from my book I found -Praying for your baby's development. It gives you some specific things you can pray for your baby that week, and the baby's development. I think it's just so amazing God's knows all the anxieties, worries, and excitement we have. The prayer for our week fourteen is pretty awesome, I mean every week has been, but this hits the spot :) So here's what we're praying for this week for our baby development this week:

Lord, my baby's gender will appear this week. Boy or Girl?-one of pregnancy's most exciting questions. You chose our gender before the beginning of time, and our gender defines so much of life for us. It's an honor to be a woman, and has never been as evident as now, when I'm with child. I pray if I'm carrying a boy may he embrace his masculinity and seek to become a strong but gentle man who brings honor and glory to his Savior. If my baby is a girl, may she rejoice in her womanhood and see it not as a burden or a weakness, but as a blessing and a joy. I will be thrilled with either one, Lord. Help me lovingly encourage them to be exactly who you created them to be.
 In Jesus name, Amen.

I will try to post more of these posts with our prayers for our baby each week. It's exciting to know that God knows and He's know from the beginning, and has such an amazing plan for our little one. That's all the news from us now. Doctors appointment September 22nd! Don't forget to put your vote what you think we're having!

Baby On The Way!

Dear Family and Friends,

We decided that since we have a new addition to our family on the way we would keep you updated with this blog! I'm not making any promises of to how often : ) If you already don't know which I'm pretty sure that Matt and I have shouted it from the roof tops-We're having a Baby! God has blessed us with this amazing miracle!  We have prayed and asked God for His timing and He blessed us with the wonderful news in July. I am now officially 12wks & 6 days ! I can say that it looks like the morning sickness is slowly fading away-thank you Lord!  Matthew has been nothing but wonderful! I feel so truly blessed for God to have placed such a Godly man in my life that takes such good care of us : )  He's going to be an awesome dad! Our precious little bundle is due March 12, 2011. We find out what he/she is in the next month or two. So don't worry we'll be sure to let everyone know!  We have thrown around a few names here and there. If it's a boy (which I have a feeling it is) we like the names Zachary Wayne or Josiah Wayne.  If it's a girl(which I think Matthew is hoping for) we like the names Addison Grace, Phoebe Grace, or Sophie Grace.  Those are just a few but they are at the top of the lists. I'm sure it will change lots more when we find out what we're having. So of course if you have any suggestions for us we'd love to hear them-Aidan our nephew has already named it of course he calls the baby Bingo : )  Then another nickname the baby already has is cuddlebug-thanks to mom. We are so excited about this new chapter in our life and what God has in store. We are excited to share with our family and friends also!  Thank you for all your prayers and ask for continued prayers!
